The early season roll continued Friday for the UHA Lady Blazers volleyball team. UHA picked up a pair of impressive wins at the Apollo Summer Slam, and in so doing, kept their set undefeated steak going.
In their opening match Friday, the Lady Blazers knocked off Warren East in straight sets 25-23 and 25-12. They followed that up with a 25-20 and 25-15 win over Muhlenberg County.
The two wins improved UHA’s record to 6-0 on the season. The Lady Blazers have also won 13 straight sets to begin the 2018 season.
The Lady Blazers advance to the Gold Bracket of the Apollo Summer Slam, and will start their day Saturday against Breckinridge County at 10:00am.
