
The Trigg County girls’ soccer team slumped to its second-straight mercy-rule defeat with a 10-0 loss on Thursday night at Calloway. The Lady Wildcats fall to 0-3 after playing a brutal schedule over the first week of the season that also included Hopkinsville and Henderson County.
The Lady Lakers, who got four goals each from Elle Carson and Anna Hill and two more from Caroline Adams, even their record at 1-1.
Trigg County plays its first 5th District match of the season on Monday when it makes the trip to Crittenden County. The Lady Wildcats swept both meetings with the Lady Rockets last season.
