Fort Campbell’s 2018 football schedule features five teams that are ranked in the top 10 of their respective classes. The Falcons missed the playoffs in the first season with Josh Robins as head coach, but return several key players and have several additions that could see them return to the postseason.
The ranked opponents on the Fort Campbell schedule are Russellville (Aug. 24), ranked eighth by the Lexington Herald-Leader in the Class 1A poll; Glasgow (Aug. 31), ranked fifth by both the Herald-Leader and Bluegrasspreps.com in Class 2A; Caldwell County (Oct. 12), ranked seventh by BGP and eighth by the H-L; Paducah Tilghman (Oct. 19), ranked seventh by the H-L; and Madisonville (Oct. 26), ranked No. 8 in the BGP Class 4A rankings.
Fort Campbell will scrimmage Crittenden County, ranked No. 7 in the BGP preseason rankings, Friday.
