
University Heights Academy looked sharp in their first official preseason scrimmage Tuesday with a 5-1 win at Marshall County. Lilly Strader had a hand in all five goals, scoring twice and assisting on three others.
Grace Pape, Kate Cansler, and Piper Hancock each had goals for the Lady Blazers, and a young defense held the Lady Marshals to a single goal. Lainey Burman had eight saves in goal for UHA.
UHA will scrimmage Trigg County Thursday before opening the season at Calloway County Monday.
