Alex Ethridge didn’t spend much time of the golf course over the summer heading into her final high school season, but the Trigg County senior had a good reason. She attended the Governor’s Scholar Program at Morehead State University.
Having played less than a half-dozen times over the summer, Ethridge carded a 95 at the Christian County Invitational Tuesday at Western Hills Golf Course. She is hoping to not only qualify for the state tournament later this fall, but also continue her golf career in college.
In addition to an eclectic taste in music, Alex has a 3.89 GPA entering her senior year and has already completed some college courses for credit. She has been a TCHS class officer three years and is a member of DECA, FCA, and the Black Hole.
