While Christian County didn’t win a game at the Bluegrass State Soccer Games in Versailles over the weekend, the Lady Colonels were in every game.
On Saturday, Christian County, who posted a 5-13-1 record in Shannon Carter’s first season as head coach, gave up a late goal to John Hardin (5-13-1) in their Saturday opener and fell 1-0.
Later that afternoon, the Lady Colonels were tied with St. Henry (15-6) at halftime before the Lady Crusaders scored four unanswered goals to win 5-1.
On Sunday, Christian County got goals from freshmen Autumn Bell and Emma Fleming to force a 2-2 tie with Sayre (9-7-1) from Lexington.
