
Hopkinsville won two of their three games over the weekend at the Bluegrass State Soccer Games in Louisville. The Tigers, who won the region title with a 19-5-1 record last year but graduated a large senior class, opened with a 2-1 win over Franklin County (10-14) Saturday. They recorded a 2-0 shutout of Madison Central (12-11-2) in the Saturday nightcap.
In Sunday’s game, Hoptown fell to Male 6-1. Male finished 9-8-2 last year.
