Bethany Stallons finished 16th in Breakaway Roping at the National High School Finals Rodeo that concluded Saturday in Rock Spring, Wyoming.
Stallons competed in the event throughout the week and finished as high as fourth in a round. When her performances from the week were scored, Stallons finished 16th out of 126 entries.
Bethany will be a senior at Trigg County High School and is the daughter of David and Becky Stallons of Gracey. She won a $100 scholarship belt buckle and clothing for her finish and is the third sibling in her family that has competed in the national high school rodeo.
