Trigg County has promoted Tyler Magan to be their new head baseball coach. Magan has served as an assistant coach with the Wildcats for the past three years under former coach Tim Bush. It will be Magan’s first head coaching assignment.
Magan played at Hancock County and spent some time at Henderson County before coming to Trigg County. He will inherit a Wildcat team that was 19-12 and advanced to the semifinals of the region tournament. However, the Wildcats graduated seven starters, six of which signed to play college baseball. Three of the seven departing seniors were also the top three in the pitching rotation.
Magan takes over for Bush, who resigned in June after going 123-112 in seven years as head coach.
