Championships Decided in GO Series Hopkinsville Division

The GO Junior Golf Series held their series championship at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Thursday with the tour championships decided in all age groups.

Girls 8-Under (Three Holes)

Campbell Lindsey shot a 17 over three holes to take first place by one shot over Allie Sandifer. Sandifer won the tour title with Lindsey finishing as runner-up. Anne Brian Hampton shot a 22 to finish as first flight runner-up.

Boys 8-Under (Three Holes)

Jett Miller and Matthew Flynn both shot a 17 over three holes to tie for first place. Miller won on a scoreboard tie-breaker. Max Falcon shot a 22 to finish fourth. Miller won the season title with Falco taking second.

Boys 9-10 (Six Holes)

Johnny Brown shot a 26 over six holes to finish first Thursday, while Brady Hightower shot a 33 to finish third. For the season, Brown was the tour champion with Hightower finishing as runner-up.

Girls 11-12 (Six Holes)

Conlee Lindsey continued her solid play with a score of 43 Thursday, one shot better than Cate Blane. Abby-Grace Forbes shot a 49 to finish third, while Ava Colburn shot a 55 to finish fourth. Lindsey won the tour championship, while Forbes was runner-up based on points. Blane was the first flight winner, and Colburn was third.

Girls 13-15 (Nine Holes)

Rheagan Lindsey shot a 45 over nine holes to take first place in the age division. She also won the tour championship. Madisonville’s Katherine Weir shot a 48 to finish second in the round and runner-up for the season.

Anna Blane shot a 56 to finish third Thursday, Audrey Rains shot a 60, and Sloan Hampton shot a 66. Rains was the first flight winner and Blane was the runner-up.

Boys 11-12 (Nine Holes)

Haydon Reynolds shot a 48 to finish in fourth place Thursday. Joey Falco shot a 59 to finish seventh, and Harlow Hampton shot a 60 to finish eighth. Falco finished as first flight winner for the season, Hampton was second, and Reynolds third based on points.

Boys 13-15 (Nine Holes)

Evan Pyle put together a round of 43 on Thursday to win the day and finish as tour champion. Calvin Demps shot a 52 to finish third for the round and second for the season in points.

Boys 13-15 (18 Holes)

Hunter Reynolds played a solid round and shot a 78 to take first place Thursday. Jiles Wyatt shot an 86 to finish third, and Micah Smith’s 90 was good for fourth. Elijah Forbes shot a 95 to finish seventh, and Will Binkley shot a 103 to finish ninth.

Wyatt won the season championship with Griffin Payne of Owensboro finishing second. Forbes was third. Smith was the second flight winner, and Reynolds was the third flight winner.

Girls 16-18 (18 Holes)

Owensboro’s Emma Payne shot an 87 to win the round and take the tour championship. Hannah Sumner finished third with a score of 93 to secure the tour’s runner-up spot. Bridget Owens shot a 96 Thursday to finish fourth. Ellie Colburn finished ninth and was the third place finisher in the first flight.
