While the Caldwell County Lady Tigers spent the first part of the summer working out on their own, the Lady Tiger Soccer team now officially has its new coach. According to a post on the Lady Tiger Soccer Facebook page, Nyomi Devine has been selected to lead the Lady Tiger program.
The 21-year old Devine just graduated from Murray State University, and is a native of Beaudesert, Australia. She was a four year member of the MSU women’s soccer team, where she was named 2017 All-OVC First Team and 2015 All-OVC Tournament.
She replaces Eric Jacobs, who announced in may that he wass leaving the Lady Tiger program for a coaching and teaching position at John Overton High School in Nashville. Jacobs is a graduate of the school. During his time at Caldwell County, the Lady Tigers went 27-20-2 and won two 7th District championships.
