Emma Talley looks to bounce back this week at one of the LPGA’s five major tournaments when the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship tees off Thursday outside of Chicago.

Talley missed the cut last weekend in Arkansas for just the third time in 13 events this year. The Princeton native and former NCAA champion from the University of Alabama sits at 51st on the LPGA money list with $169,454 earned in her rookie year on the tour. She must finish in the top 80 on the money list to retain her LPGA card for 2019.

The Women’s PGA Championship will be played at the Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer, Illinois, located northwest of Chicago. It hosted the 1989 men’s PGA championship won by Payne Stewart. Talley missed the cut at the Women’s PGA Championship in 2014.

Talley will tee off Thursday at 1:40 in a group with Wichanee Meechai of Thailand and former Curtis Cup teammate Ally McDonald. The tournament, which features a $3.65 million purse, will be televised on the Golf Channel the first two rounds and NBC the final two rounds.
