Easton McGee had his best outing of the season Tuesday in leading Hudson Valley to their seventh straight win. The former Hopkinsville Mr. Baseball pitched six innings of one-hit baseball as the Renegades beat Connecticut 6-1.
McGee struck out five and walked two in moving to 2-0 and lowering his ERA to 2.81.
Hudson Valley, the low Class A affiliate of the Tampa Rays, is tied with Brooklyn atop the New York-Penn League standings with a 9-3 record.
