As he enters his senior season at University Heights, one area high school basketball player is being recognized as being among the best in the country. UHA’s KyKy Tandy was one of two players from Kentucky to be listed in ESPN’s Top 100 players from the Class of 2019.
The ESPN rankings have Tandy listed at #88 in the Top 100. The other Kentucky player ranked in the Top 100 is David Johnson, a 6-4 shooting guard from Louisville Trinity.
Tandy was the second leading scorer in the Second Region during his junior season, and was named First Team All-State after helping lead the Blazers to the Sweet 16.
