Lyon County’s Allye Culp pitched a perfect game for the West KY Elite 16U travel team Saturday, which was part of the team’s 5-0 weekend in Carbondale, Illinois. The perfect game was one of three wins in the circle for the Lyon County junior.
Culp struck out seven and didn’t allow a base runner in the 7-0 win over the SI Elite. She also scored a run at the plate.
Culp also picked up a win later Saturday with 4.1 innings of relief in a 5-4 win over the USSSA Illinois Junior Pride. She struck out six and allowed just two earned runs.
On Sunday, Culp picked up the win over Team Impact with 2.2 innings of five hit softball. She struck out one and didn’t walk anyone.
