The chances of KyKy Tandy playing basketball at the University of Kentucky are apparently much less now than they were the night John Calipari attended the 2nd Region championship game. According to an article published by Kentucky Sports Radio, the UHA senior to be says he has not heard from Kentucky since comments made by his father several weeks back.
The comment’s made by Tandy’s father indicated that his son would not go to Kentucky just to be another guard on the team, but rather that he wanted to be able to have a larger role. Tandy states in the interview that, since his father’s comments, he has not heard from the University of Kentucky.
In the KSR story, Tandy further went on to say that while his father’s statement was accurate, he should not have made it publicly.
Tandy has been in Virginia for the past several days at the NBPA Top 100 camp.
