After an impressive run through the 2nd Region tennis tournament, Caldwell County’s Ben Knight was able to pick up an win and advance to the 2nd round of the Boys State Tennis Tournament. There he ran into one of the top seeds of the entire tournament.
In his opening match of the tournament, Knight took on Hayden Jaco, of Marshall County. Knight had a strong performance in his morning match, blitzing Jaco 6-0, 6-1 to move into the round of the 32.
In the second round, Knight faced the #2 seed of the tournament, Alex Wesbrooks, of St. Xavier. The senior from Louisville proved a little too strong in the round, ending Knight’s Caldwell County career with a 6-2, 6-1 win.
