Fort Campbell’s Killian Jakstis was a first-round winner at the 2nd Region tournament on Monday in Henderson, topping Webster’s Seth Ranes 6-4, 6-0. The victory set up a second-round match-up with top-seeded Jon Nunez of Henderson, a match he would go on to lose 6-0, 6-0. Jakstis spoke about his opening-game performance, and points out that Nunez is the 1 seed for a reason.
