No change this week at the very top of the rankings in the Kentucky Prep Softball Top 25 Coaches Poll. The poll, which was released Sunday afternoon, continues to have Scott County at the top. East Carter stays in the #2 spot, with the Christian County Lady Colonels holding on to #3.
Defending state champion Madisonville, who lost to Daviess County last week, drops two spots to #7. The Lady Maroons and the Lady Colonels are set to play for the first time this season Thursday afternoon in Madisonville.
Caldwell County and Webster County were the other 2nd Region teams in the receiving votes category.
Other western Kentucky teams to be ranked this week were McCracken County at #6, Apollo at #8, Marshall County at #14, Daviess County at #16, Owensboro Catholic at #19, and Ohio County at #25.
