The Hopkinsville softball team lost 17-1 in three innings to visiting Franklin-Simpson on Monday night. The loss drops the Lady Tigers to 1-7, while the Lady Wildcats improve to 4-6.
Sophomore Marley Hancock took the loss for Hopkinsville, pitching 3.0 innings and allowing 17 runs, 13 earned, on six hits with a strikeout and ten walks.
On Thursday the Lady Tigers travel across town to face 8th District rival University Heights.
