A strong pitching performance from Franklin-Simpson’s Cole Heinze and Matthew Crittenden was too much for the Todd Central Rebels to overcome Tuesday night. Heinze and Crittenden combined to throw a five inning no-hitter, as the Wildcats cruised to an 11-0 win over the Rebels.
Franklin-Simpson scored a run in the first innning, nine more in the third, and added one more in the bottom of the 4th to pick up the win.
On the other side, Todd County Central was able to get nothing going against the Wildcats pitching. Heinze and Crittenden gave up only three walks combined, with none of the Rebel baserunners advancing past first base.
