The Volleyball Academy of the Pennyrile Region (VAPR) 15U Legacy team took third place in the Gold Bracket in the 15-select division at the Nike Mideast Qualifier over the weekend in Indianapolis.
This marked the first time a VAPR team has played in the Gold Bracket and placed in this event.
Team members are: Beth Peebles (UHA); Abby Griggs, Riley Thomas, Olivia Mitchell, and Kendyll Prowell (Caldwell County); Averie Turner and Lauren Watkins (Hopkinsville); and Alexis Fliehman and Natalie Collier (Madisonville).
The coach is Rick Erickson.
