Hopkinsville qualified for the NASP State Tournament after finishing fourth at the Region 2 Archery Tournament in Henderson Saturday.
Lanie Brumfield shot a 284 to lead the Tigers archers, which was good for seventh place among females. Mary Poe shot a 280 to finish 11th, and Hiley Welker shot a 266 to finish 34th.
Nathan Morris led the guys with a score of 283, good for 13th. Chandler Neighbors shot a 277 to finish 25th, and Jeremy Leek was 32nd with a 271.
Shelby Sparks shot a 282 to place third among middle school females, and Will Futrell shot a 278 to finish fourth in the middle school male division.
Hopkinsville’s score of 3,251 was good for fourth place in the region behind Henderson County (3,427), Hopkins County Central (3,337), and Webster County (3,336).
