Heritage Christian Academy qualified for the NASP State Archery Tournament following their performance Saturday at the Region 2 Tournament in Henderson.
Sophomore Jess Bufford had the high score for the Warrior archers with a 286, good for eighth place among the male shooters. Cole Stevens shot a 278 to finish 24th, and Joseph Wiggleton shot a 274 to lead the middle schoolers with a ninth place finish.
Zoe Bellak led the female archers with a score of 285 to finish fifth. Delaney Bynum shot a 270 to finish 27th.
HCA will host their Warrior Shootout Saturday at HCA’s Warrior Gym. Shooting begins at 9am with a silent auction to be held to help raise money for the program.
