To say the Todd County Central Lady Rebels got a tough draw in the Girls 4th Region tournament might be “a bit” of an understatement. Coming off a disappointing loss to Logan County in the 13th District final, the Lady Rebels will face the South Warren Lady Spartans in the final game of the first round of the Girls 4th Region, Tuesday night.
The two teams have not met during the 2017-2018 season. The Lady Spartans, who have been ranked in the Top 5 for much of the season, enter the tournament with a record of 29-3 and are on an 11 game winning streak. Their last loss was back on January 22, when they lost on the road at Elizabethtown. South Warren came to Hopkinsville on February 15, defeating the Lady Tigers by 30.
Todd County is 14-14 on the season. The Lady Rebels have won 6 of their last 8 games coming down the stretch.
The 4th Region tournament is being played at Diddle Arena.
