Heritage Christian Academy was denied their 20th win of the season Tuesday with a 39-30 loss at South Haven, TN.
A slow start doomed the Lady Warriors as South Haven led HCA 9-6 after one quarter and 21-11 at halftime. Katrina Epley scored 12 of her 14 points in the first half to pace the Springfield, TN school.
HCA was able to get the deficit into single digits in the fourth quarter but could never draw closer than six points.
Chelsea Dortch led HCA with 13 points, and Rachel West added 12 points. Hope Flournoy scored three for the Lady Warriors who fell to 19-8 on the season.
The Lady Warriors, the top ranked team in the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association, will host Franklin Road next Tuesday in their season finale.
