Trigg County bounced back from a tough loss Friday to hand Fulton City a 65-29 setback Saturday at Fulton City. The win came less than 24 hours after a 59-51 loss to Union County.
The Wildcats used a 20-4 second quarter run to build a 34-15 lead at halftime and put the game away with a 23-6 advantage in the third quarter.
Kirome Bingham hit 7-of-8 shots to finish with a season-high 18 points. Devron Triplet added 10 points and seven steals, and Cam Jordan came off the bench to score nine points and grab five rebounds.
Brennan Walker and Emmett Hathaway each scored five points for Fulton City (1-16), while Kelon Bean added four points.
Trigg County (11-7) will play at Lyon County Tuesday with a chance to nail down the top seed in the Fifth District Tournament.
