Trigg Arrowcats Win Murray New Year’s Shootout

Trigg County’s Arrowcats took first place in the high school division at the Murray New Year’s Shootout, while Josh Ingram won the middle school division with a high score of 292.

Macy Mitchell finished second in the girls’ division with a score of 290. Kaylin Smith shot a 289 to finish third, and Audrey Smith was sixth with a score of 283.

For the guys, Garrett Knight led Trigg with a score of 287 to finish third. Chase Oglesby shot a 285 to finish fifth, and Jevan Hamby shot a 294 to finish sixth.

In the middle school division, Josh Ingram shot a 292 to win the boys’ division and record the best male score of the day in all levels. Jeri Beth Oliver had Trigg’s best female score at 272, good for sixth place.

Trigg County finished first in the high school division with 3,368 points, 74 points better than Marshall County. Hopkinsville was third with 3,234 points.

Graves County won the middle school division with 3,343, which was 141 more than second place Trigg County.

Trigg County won the elementary division by six points over Fancy Farm Elementary.
