Mother Nature was the winner this week and schools were the loser as winter weather forced most of the week’s games to be called off. As a result, there is little change in the girls’ rankings this week.

Christian County (14-4) – The Lady Colonels will come off the snow break with three tough games in a row, starting with a district showdown Friday at No. 4 Hopkinsville and a Saturday home game with No. 3 Henderson County (weather permitting). Tuesday they will host Marshall County.

Webster County (16-4) – The Lady Trojans have a light scheduled ahead of them in the coming week but are actively looking to add games to their schedule. Webster travels to No. 6 Hopkins County Central Friday and then has a week off until they play at No. 3 Henderson County for the second time in 18 days.

Henderson County (6-7) – Henderson County travels to No. 8 Madisonville Friday and to top-ranked Christian County Saturday. Henderson has played just two games since the calendar flipped to 2018.

Hopkinsville (14-5) – Hoptown will get tested quickly once the snow melts with a huge district game with No. 1 Christian County Friday, a road trip to Bowling Green Saturday, and a road contest at No. 3 Henderson County Tuesday. A strong performance could see the Lady Tigers make a climb.

Caldwell County (10-5) – The Lady Tigers are one of a handful of teams waiting for the first round of the All-A Classic region tournament to play out since they drew a first round bye. Their progress in the All-A will determine if they play their scheduled games with Trigg County and Lyon County next week.

Hopkins County Central (9-9) – The Lady Storm are scheduled to host McLean County Thursday ahead of a Friday home game with No. 2 Webster County. Hopkins Central entered the snow break losing four of their last five.

Livingston Central (10-9) – The Lady Cardinals kept their ranking thanks to a one-point win over No. 9 Lyon County. They are in action this weekend at the All-A Classic Region Tournament.

Madisonville (4-10) – The Lady Maroons will host No. 3 Henderson County Friday but only have five games in their last 11 against Second Region opposition.

Lyon County (9-5) – The Lady Lyons are looking at getting back to the championship game of the All-A Classic Region Tournament. A trip to Richmond next week means some schedule maneuvering.

Crittenden County (9-7) – The Lady Rockets survived their game with Trigg County to pick up a win and will play No. 9 Lyon County in the first round of the All-A Classic Region Tournament.

Union County (4-12) – The Bravettes aren’t shying away from anyone when it comes to scheduling. They host Graves County Saturday and have a district contest with No. 3 Henderson County Monday.

Trigg County (6-10) – The snow doesn’t come at a good time for the Lady Wildcats, who have showed signs of improvement in recent weeks. If their Thursday game with No. 11 is canceled due to weather, they have to wait and see what Caldwell County does in the All-A to determine their next game.

University Heights (6-9) – The Lady Blazers have survived their past four games without their leading scorer Anshanique Leavell by going 2-2. Their schedule could be impacted by what they and others do in the All-A Region Tourney.

Dawson Springs (3-12) – The Lady Panthers lost to No. 10 Crittenden County by six points on Jan. 9 and haven’t played since. Like many schools, their upcoming schedule will be affected by what others do in the All-A Tourney.

Fort Campbell (0-12) – After All-A regional play, the Lady Falcons have a shot at securing their first win Monday at winless Christian Fellowship from the First Region.
