
Caldwell County has two wrestlers ranked in the top three in their class statewide, according to rankings released by KentuckyWrestling.com.
Dylan Gray is ranked second in the 182-pound class behind only Walton-Verona junior Braden Mulcahy. Christian County’s Diion Leavell is ranked third in the class.
Eighth grader Dylan Walls is ranked third in the 106-pound class, one spot ahead of Christian County’s Gage Fowler.
Other Caldwell County wrestlers ranked in their classes include Seth Slayton, 14th at 160; James Jones, 16th at 113; Kaleb O’Campo, 20th at 145; and John Paredes 25th at 170.
As a team, Caldwell County is ranked 16th in the state, with defending state champion Union County ranked first.
Caldwell County is scheduled to wrestle at Calloway County this weekend.
