The UHA Lady Blazers picked up the second win in their last three games Thursday night, rolling by Fort Campbell 56-10. The Lady Blazers jumped out big early and never looked back on their way to a road district win on post.
The UHA defense held Fort Campbell without a field goal in the first quarter. Meanwhile, the Lady Blazer offense was clicking on all cylinders, putting up 26 points in the first quarter on the way to a 26-3 lead.
The Lady Falcons got a field goal in the second quarter, but that was all. UHA outscored Fort Campbell 7-2 in the quarter to extend the lead to 33-5 at the half.
Things did not change much at the beginning of the 2nd half. UHA, for the second time on the night, held Fort Campbell without a field goal in a quarter. The Lady Blazers outscored Fort Campbell 9-2 in the third to push the lead on out to 42-7.
UHA reserves were then able to finish the game out. The Lady Blazers outscored Fort Campbell 14-3 in the final quarter to get to the final 56-10 score.
Anna Fitzpatrick led the way for UHA with 16 points, 14 of those coming in the first quarter. Alex Juckett added nine for the Lady Blazers. Brianna Dugger and Trinity Mincy were the top scorers for Fort Campbell with 3 points each.
UHA improves to 6-9 on the season, while Fort Campbell falls to 0-12.
