Trigg County to Induct Hall of Fame Class Saturday

The seventh class of the Trigg County High School Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducted Saturday, Jan. 13 at the school’s cafeteria. Doors will open at 11am with the lunch and induction ceremony to follow at noon.  The cost is $10 for adults with students 10 and under admitted free.  The class will also be recognized before Trigg County’s basketball game Friday with Crittenden County.

The 2017 Hall of Fame Class is:

– Greg Bridges, state track champion and all-state football player. He was the leading rusher on the 1989 state runner-up football team

– Brianna Heffington Wolfe, girls’ soccer player who graduated as the leading career scorer for the boys’ soccer program at Trigg County

– James Hobson, three-sport standout who competed in the state level in track and cross country in addition to leading the 1975 basketball team in scoring

– Ralph Stevens, Trigg County’s only state champion in wrestling and football player

– Jaime Towler Choate, region champion in golf and top five finisher at the state tournament

– 1978 boys’ state champion track and field team

The public is invited to attend and celebrate the induction of the newest class of the Trigg County High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
