
After its best start in over 20 years, the Todd County Central boys’ basketball team has dropped two straight, and enter the holiday tournament season looking to get back on track. The Rebels will travel to Webster County to participate in the Baptist Health and Sports Rehab Holiday Classic December 21-23, and will cap off the year at the South Central Bank-Halton Classic at Allen County-Scottsville December 28-30.
Todd County opens the Baptist Health and Sports Rehab Holiday Classic against 6-2 Webster County on Thursday. On Friday, they face 1-7 Western, and they wrap up the tournament on Saturday with an intriguing match-up with the 5-1 Christian County Colonels.
After Santa makes his rounds, the Rebels will get back to business on December 28th at the South Central Bank-Halton Classic at Allen County-Scottsville. They open play against the hosts, who check in with a 2-5 record, followed the next day with a game against the 6-3 Warren East Raiders, winners of 6 straight. Todd County wraps up their tournament with a meeting with 4-4 Greenwood on the 30th.
The Rebels will see Warren East for the second time in five days when they welcome the Raiders to Elkton to begin play in 2018.
