The Heritage Christian Lady Warriors continued their recent roll by cruising past Galilean Christian 55-25 Saturday in Liberty. The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 13-5 lead after the first quarter and pulled away to the win.
HCA outscored Galilean 12-9 in the second quarter to extend the lead to 25-14 at the half. Rachel West paced the Lady Warriors in the first half with 12 points at the break.
In the third quarter, West and Chelsea Dortch combined to score all eleven points for the Lady Warriors. Hertage would limit Galilean to seven points in the quarter, as the Lady Warriors extended their lead to 36-21. The Heritage Christian defense took over in the 4th quarter, holding Galilean to just four points as the offense picked up the pace to put the game away.
Heritage Christian was led by Rachel West with 20 points, while Chelsea Dortch chipped in with 13. The win was the 6th in a row for the Lady Warriors, whose last loss was a 4 point loss to Highlands back on December 1. They improve to 10-2 on the season.
