The Caldwell County Tigers gave another solid performance during their second preseason scrimmage Saturday. The Tigers traveled to McLean County to take on the Cougars.
Both teams lit up the scoreboard in the first quarter, with Caldwell County leading at the end of the period 28-23. Each team put up 15 points in the second quarter, which left Caldwell County in front 43-38.
McLean County outscored Caldwell County in the 3rd quarter 14-13. However, the Tigers came roaring back in the 4th quarter, outscoring the Cougars 28-15, which ended up giving Caldwell County a final margin of 84-67.
The Tigers will officially open the season as part of a boys/girls doubleheader November 28th when they host Lyon County.
