Although she captured her third straight top ten finish at the state cross country meet, University Heights Academy junior Muki Kunnmann wasn’t happy with how she ran. Her time of 20:47 over the 3.1-mile course that wraps around the back of the Kentucky Horse Park was 41 seconds off her fourth place finish time from a year ago.
Despite a fast pace that saw her run a 6:17 first mile, Kunnmann found herself on the awards podium for the third straight year. She finished seventh as a freshman and fourth as a sophomore.
