Three Christian County Colonels have been invited to play in the Best of the Bluegrass All-Star Football Game to be played next month in Elizabethtown.
Quarterback Kolbe Langhi, and defensive backs Corey Trice and Corey Stubbs were named to the Kentucky squad, who will be coached by Caldwell County’s David Barnes.
Langhi recently became the school’s all-time leading passer, while Trice had three interceptions and three fumble recoveries on defense. Trice is likely to be sidelined a few more weeks while he recovers from a stress fracture in his foot. Stubbs has two interceptions and a fumble recovery.
Also named to the Kentucky squad were Paducah Tilghman defensive back Jordan Harmon, Graves County receiver Trevor Grant, and Mayfield linebacker Kyle Hunter.
The Kentucky team will play a team of Louisville All-Stars Sunday, December 10th at Elizabethtown High School at 2pm. Admission to the game is $10.
