
Two members of the University Heights Academy girls soccer team have been recognized for their efforts on the pitch this season. The Kentucky High School Girl Soccer Coaches Associate released their All State teams, with Lilly Strader and Alli Cundiff being honored.
Strader, a junior, was named to the West Second Team All State, while Cundiff, a senior, was named West All State Honorable Mention. Strader scored 42 goals and assisted on 12 others, while Cundiff scored 20 goals, had nine assists, and was one of the top defenders in the region.
The two players helped lead UHA to a 16-4 record, and a semifinal appearance in the girls 2nd Region tournament.
Also named First Team All-State were Murray’s Lydia Grogan and Henderson County’s Maddie Griggs. Katie Bickers from Henderson County was named to the Second Team All-State.
Players named All-State Honorable Mention were Henderson County’s Carlee Crafton, Murray’s Parker Greer, and Marshall County’s Bailey Wood.
