If he continues to play like he did Saturday, it is going to get harder and harder to keep Elijah Sindelar from being the fulltime starting quarterback for the Purdue Boilermakers. The former Kentucky Mr. Football from Caldwell County brought the Boilermakers from behind to pick up a big conference win over Minnesota 31-17.
Sindelar threw for 248 yards, a touchdown, and a two-point conversion, as Purdue rallied from a 14-6 halftime deficit to beat the Golden Gophers 31-17.
The Boilermakers improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the Big 10.
