Emma Talley continues to remain in strong contention for gaining her LPGA card. When play was suspended Saturday at the Symetra Tour Championship due to darkness, Talley was tied for second with a score of 6 under par. She had played only four holes of the second round when play was suspended.
Talley is tied with Kendall Dye, who is one of those trying to catch up to her in the money standings for the year. Talley is currently ranked 10th, which would earn her LPGA card for next season. Dye is currently in 13th place. The top 10 money winners for the year earn their card for 2018.
Play is set to resume Sunday in Daytona Beach.
