
Christian County used both the arms and legs of quarterback Kolbe Langhi to hand Owensboro a 48-27 loss Friday and move to 6-0 on the season. Langhi completed 11-of-14 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns and added 122 yards and four more scores on the ground as the Colonels outscored the Red Devils 29-6 to end the game.
Ellis Dunn and JaQuon Long each had touchdown catches, and Cory Trice added his third punt return for a touchdown this season.
Christian County has won 13 of their last 14 regular season games and moved to 6-0 on the season and 2-0 in the district. The Colonels will host 5-1 Apollo Friday. The Eagles will be coming off a bye week.
