On a night when Hopkinsville girls’ soccer senior Avery O’Hara was honored along with fellow seniors Gwendolyn Bell and Libby Steil, the Lady Tigers won 9-1 over the visiting Logan County Lady Cougars (4-8). The win snaps a 9 game winless streak for the Lady Tigers.
O’Hara scored her first goal a minute into the contest and never looked back, adding 4 more first half goals, and one in the second. Libby Steil marked her senior night with a goal as well, while sophomore forward Keeli Miles added 2.
The win wraps up the Lady Tigers’ regular season, leaving them with a week off to prepare for the 8th District tournament.
