It was a tough loss last Friday night for the Fort Campbell Falcons. After battling to a 7-7 tie through more than 47 minutes, they fell on a last minute punt return to Trigg County 14-7. Despite the loss, defensive end Michael Averhart played much larger than his size, giving the Trigg County offense fits all night long.
For his efforts, Averhart was named the Jersey Mike’s “Player of the Game” for the second time this season. Congratulations to Michael, and a big “thank you to Jersey Mike’s.
