Goals were at a premium Thursday as University Heights Academy beat Caldwell County 2-0 at the Butler Stadium in Princeton. The game was a rematch of an All-A Classic Tournament game played Aug. 19 and won by UHA 3-2.
Lilly Strader and Kate Cansler had the UHA goals, and Alli Cundiff had an assist. The UHA defense notched their fifth shutout of the season, and goalie Lainey Burman had seven saves in goal.
UHA improved to 10-3 with the win and 7-1 against region opponents. The Lady Blazers will host Hopkins County Central Saturday.
Caldwell County (9-8) is 0-4-1 in their last five games and will host Crittenden County Monday.
