The Caldwell County girls’ soccer team dropped its third straight match with a 5-2 defeat at Ohio County (10-5) on Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers are winless in their last four matches, and slip to 9-7-1 on the year.
Senior midfielder MacKenzie Smiley and junior midfielder Allissa Traylor each had a goal for the Lady Tigers, and senior midfielder Taely Freeman added an assist.
Caldwell have a big match at Butler Stadium on Thursday when the University Heights Lady Blazers (9-3) come to town. The Lady Blazers nipped Caldwell 3-2 earlier in the season in All “A” competition.
