The University Heights Academy boys’ soccer team started quickly and never let up, winning 10-0 at Union County (1-11) on Tuesday night. The Blazers up their record to 7-5-2 on the season and snap a 2 game losing streak.
UHA had a 2 goal lead inside of the first 2 minutes, and had no trouble finishing things off for its 6th shutout of the year. Sophomore midfield Tanner Thomas had 4 goals, freshman Elvin Wagner and senior midfielder Taylor Daniel had 2 goals, while junior midfielder Ian Calvert and freshman Will Bryan had a goal each. Bryan also added 3 assists and Taylor and Calvert both notched 2, and senior Jacorie Summers had one.
The Blazers host the 9-7 Murray High Tigers, winners of 6 of 7, on Thursday at Givens Field.
