The Lyon County girls’ soccer team, ranked 12th in the YourSportsEdge.com 2nd Region rankings, picked up its second straight win, 5-2 over 11th ranked Crittenden County Monday night. The Lady Lyons up their record to 4-8, while the Lady Rockets fall to 4-6-1 on the year.
Junior forward Alexis Pinnegar had 2 goals and an assist for the Lady Lyons, freshman Sydney Hoffman also had 2 goals, and freshman Destiny Dycus added the last goal. Sophomore defender Emily Smith recorded an assist.
Lyon County will be back at Lee S. Jones Park on Tuesday, hosting the 1-10 Mayfield Lady Cardinals.
