Trigg County’s girls finished in fourth place at the St. Mary Invitational Saturday in Paducah, while the middle school boys took first place.
Livi and Lexi Ricks led the way in the girls’ varsity race – Livi finished 15th (23:38) and Lexi 19th (24:06).
Rylee Bush was 27th, followed by Phelan Dossett (25:28), Breeanna Barnes (34th), DeDe Barbee (35th), and Grace Hill (37th).
Trigg County (101) finished nine points behind third place Calloway County and 37 points behind second place Paducah Tilghman.
In the middle school girls’ race, Reese Bush was Trigg County’s top runner in 11th place, followed by Riley Brame (13th), Rose Owen (18th), Mari Kate Ricks (21st), Zoe Miller (32nd), and Madison Jenkins (42nd).
Trigg County finished fourth as a team with 86 points, eight behind third place Graves County.
In the varsity boys’ race, Trigg County finished in ninth place with 207 points. John Chinn led the Wildcats with a 38th place finish in 21:06. Apollo Blackbear Francis was 52nd, followed by Tyler Freeman (53rd), Jacob Kent (54th), Alex Skinner (56th), C.J. Ahart (61st), and Walker Foutch (75th).
Trigg County put three runners in the top 15 to win the middle school boys’ race. Marshall Jenkins was seventh, Riley Oliver ninth, and Riley Thompson 13th for Trigg County, who had 48 points to easily outdistance second place Marshall County’s 67 points.
Dallas Ahart was 17th, followed by Austin Cavanaugh (22nd), Jeffery Hillyard (51st), and Gentry Hyde (52nd).
