This week’s Spotlight Athlete is Trigg County sophomore Cameran Jordan. He plays quarterback for the Wildcats, and his first four games of the season are the first he has played at the varsity level.
Jordan has completed 56-percent of his passes for 545 yards and nine touchdowns. He also leads the Wildcats in rushing with 420 yards in four games with eight more touchdowns.
Last week against Ballard Memorial, Jordan accounted for 341 total yards and eight touchdowns – five passing and three rushing. The eight touchdowns in a game is a new school record.
Jordan also plays for the Wildcat basketball team where he was named All-District as a freshman.
