Caldwell County’s Campbell Knoth finished tied for 14th place Saturday at the All-A Classic State Golf Tournament at Woodson Bend Resort near Somerset. Knoth, the Region Two winner, shot an 89.
Murray’s Delaney Welsh shot a 78 to finish as state runner-up and helped the Lady Tigers to a runner-up team finish behind Lexington Christian. Livingston Central’s Carsyn Jones shot a 94 to finish tied for 27th, and UHA seventh grader Rheagan Lindsey shot a 123 in her first state tournament.
